Craft Desk - A level Product Design Project

This project was part of my A level 3D Product design course. As part of the 2nd year of the course a 3D product had to be produced to suit a client. I chose a client I knew personally, a teacher at a local school, who required a new craft desk to replace the existing product in use that was falling apart. As part of this they also stated the desk needed to be multifunctional and feature in-built storage in order to save classroom space.

Therefore I began designing a product to meet this brief set.

The initial design was then developed to produce the developed design as shown in the images above (the hand sketch followed by scale CAD model)

This design was then even further developed from feedback from the client and evaluation against the specification set.
